Booking, payment, arrival and the house rules — answered plainly, and the same answers you would get if you wrote to us.
Is sending the form a booking?
No. An enquiry commits you to nothing and reserves nothing. We reply with real availability and a price, usually the same day. A booking exists only once we have confirmed it in writing and the deposit has arrived.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer. A deposit of 20% confirms the booking; the balance is due before or on arrival, as set out in your offer. We do not take card payments.
What happens if I cancel?
Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable. Bookings made through Booking.com follow that channel’s own terms. The full conditions are in your offer before you commit to anything.
What is included in the price?
Everything to do with the stay: tourist tax, final cleaning and utilities. Where a house comes with services — the boat, the airport transfer, a skipper — those are included as well, at no extra charge. The only thing guests pay for is the fuel the boat and the car actually use.
Which day do stays start and end?
Saturday to Saturday. Outside the peak weeks another changeover day is sometimes possible — ask and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
What is the shortest stay?
One week, Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays are occasionally possible outside the peak weeks.
When can I check in and out?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. An earlier arrival or a later departure can sometimes be arranged — just ask.
Are pets allowed?
As a rule, no. Exceptions are possible by arrangement, so ask before you book rather than on arrival.
How long is the 2027 season?
From 29 May to 2 October 2027. For dates outside that window, send an enquiry and we will tell you what is possible.
